Not at all. Once you place your order, we contact your current provider for you and manage the switch as part of the One Touch Switch process.
In most cases, no. The aim is to keep your connection live during the switch. If a short interruption is unavoidable, we’ll explain this clearly in advance.
No. Your current provider cannot block your switch or delay it unfairly. Switching is protected by Ofcom rules.
The One Touch Switch process applies to most UK broadband services, including full fibre and part-fibre connections. If your service is different, we’ll explain how the switch works before you order.
Switching times vary depending on your location and network, but most switches are completed within 1-2 weeks. We’ll always give you a clear timeline.
In most cases, if you are switching the same service from one provider to another, it will usually not need an engineer. If you're changing the service, such as moving from part fibre to full fibre, then it will likely need one. We'll let you know exactly what needs to happen so you're not left in the dark.
Under Ofcom rules, your old provider should stop billing you once the switch is complete. If any final charges apply, these should be clearly explained by them.
If anything doesn’t go to plan, we’ll work directly with your current provider to resolve it. You won’t be left to chase multiple companies.
