What is full fibre broadband?

Full fibre (also called FTTP — Fibre to the Premises) means a fibre-optic cable runs all the way to your home. Unlike older broadband that relies on copper phone lines for the last stretch, full fibre delivers faster, more reliable speeds with far less interference. It's the real deal.

Faster speeds

Up to 1000Mbps. Enough for the whole household to stream, game, and work simultaneously without breaking a sweat.

Rock-solid reliability

Fibre-optic cables aren't affected by distance or weather the way copper is. Fewer dropouts, more consistency. Simple.

Future-proof

Full fibre infrastructure is built to last decades and handle whatever bandwidth demands come next. You won't need to upgrade again.

Built for busy homes

Multiple people on video calls, streaming 4K, and gaming at the same time? No problem. That's what it's designed for.

Available across the UK's leading fibre networks

We work with multiple networks to bring you the best connection available at your address. The network does the infrastructure, whilst we do the service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is full fibre available everwhere?

No. Full fibre is still being rolled out across the UK, so availability depends on your address and the network that serves your area. Some locations have access to multiple full fibre networks, while others may currently have part-fibre services only.

You can check availability in your postcode in seconds, and if full fibre is not yet live, we will explain what options are available and when upgrades are expected.

Will I need an engineer visit?

In most cases, yes (unless you have a Fibre Modem/ONT already installed). Full fibre installations usually require an engineer to bring the fibre connection into your property and set up the equipment.

We will confirm whether an engineer visit is needed when you place your order and keep you updated on appointment dates. Our team will guide you through what to expect, so there are no surprises on the day.

Can I keep my current provider until installation?

Yes. You can usually stay with your current provider until your full fibre service is installed and working. We recommend keeping your existing service active until your new connection is live, to avoid any loss of connectivity.

If you are unsure, our team can help you plan the switch so everything runs smoothly.

What happens if speeds are not as expected?

When you sign up, you will receive a minimum guaranteed speed for your connection. If your service consistently falls below this level and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, you may have the right to leave without penalty.

If you ever have concerns about performance, our UK-based support team will work with you to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Do I need a new router for full fibre?

Full fibre services usually require a compatible router. In most cases, we will provide one that is suitable for your connection.

If you prefer to use your own router, our team can confirm whether it is compatible and help you get set up correctly.

Is full fibre suitable for working from home?

Yes. Full fibre is well suited to remote work, video calls and cloud-based tools, thanks to its more stable connection and stronger upload speeds.

If you work from home regularly, we can help you choose a speed that keeps your connection reliable throughout the day, even when others in your household are online.
