If your home is on the OFNL network, we’ll help you choose the right speed, manage your switch, and support you with real UK-based people.
OFNL is a UK network operator that provides broadband infrastructure to many new-build housing developments. Rather than using the traditional phone line network, OFNL homes typically connect through a dedicated fibre setup designed for modern properties.
If your home is on the OFNL network, the broadband “network” and the broadband “provider” are not the same thing. OFNL provides the underlying network, while Home Unity provides the service, billing, support, and day-to-day experience.

Full fibre, also known as Fibre to the Premises, means the broadband connection runs directly into your property using fibre optic cable. This delivers faster speeds and more consistent performance than part-fibre (which relies on copper lines for the final connection).
With OFNL full fibre, your home benefits from:
We’ll tell you exactly what sort of connection is available at your address when you check availability.

Speeds on full fibre range from everyday use to very high performance. The right choice depends on who uses the internet in your home, how many devices are active at the same time, and what those devices are doing.

Ideal for smaller households with light to moderate internet use. Perfect for browsing, streaming in HD, video calls and day-to-day online tasks without fuss.
This speed suits homes where reliability matters more than raw performance.

Designed for households with multiple people online at the same time. Ideal for working from home, frequent video calls, streaming and everyday multitasking.
A balanced option for homes that rely on a smooth, consistent connection throughout the day.

Built for households with heavier internet use, including 4K streaming, online gaming, large downloads and multiple users online simultaneously.
Best for homes that want extra headroom so performance stays smooth, even at the busiest times.
With One Touch Switching, changing providers couldn't be simpler! And the best part... You don't need to contact your current provider

We are built around service, not sales targets. When customers contact us, they speak to real people who are empowered to help.
Our reviews highlight personalised support, clear explanations and fast, human responses as key reasons customers choose to stay with us.

We believe broadband should be easy to understand. That means no hidden fees, no confusing clauses and no surprises.
If something is not working as expected, we explain why and what we are doing to fix it, using plain English rather than technical jargon.

We do not believe in trapping customers in long contracts. You stay with us because the service works and the support is good, not because you are locked in.

Is OFNL a broadband provider?
OFNL is the network operator. Home Unity is your service provider, we supply the broadband package, handle your account, and support you.
Why does the provider matter if the network is OFNL?
The network is the infrastructure, but your provider controls the experience: communication, support, billing clarity, and how easy it is to get help.
Can I switch broadband provider on OFNL?
Yes. You can easily switch providers on the OFNL network.
Do I need to contact my current provider?
No. Once you place your order, we handle the switch for you using Ofcom’s One Touch Switch process. We contact your existing provider, manage the switch and confirm your changeover date.
Will switching cause downtime?
In most cases, switching is smooth with minimal disruption. If anything is expected to affect your service, we’ll tell you in advance.
Will I need an engineer visit?
In most cases you won't need an engineer visit, as the fibre modem (ONT) is installed before you move into the property.
