Why does the provider matter if the network is OFNL?

The network is the infrastructure, but your provider controls the experience: communication, support, billing clarity, and how easy it is to get help. 

Can I switch broadband provider on OFNL?

Yes. You can easily switch providers on the OFNL network. Thanks to Ofcom's One Touch Switching, you don't need to contact your current provider when switching at the same address.

Do I need to contact my current provider?

Not if you're switching at the same address. Once you place your order, we handle the switch for you using Ofcom’s One Touch Switch process. We contact your existing provider, manage the switch and confirm your changeover date. 

Will switching cause any downtime to my service?

In most cases, switching is smooth with minimal disruption. If anything is expected to affect your service, we’ll tell you in advance. 

Is OFNL a broadband provider?

OFNL is the network operator. Home Unity is your service provider, we supply the broadband package, handle your account, and support you. 

Will I need an engineer visit?

In 95% of cases, you won't need an engineer visit, as the fibre modem (ONT) is installed before you move into the property.
