Job Title: Hybrid Telesales Advisor

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary Banding: Up to £25,000 plus bonus with an OTE of £35,000.

What would we like you to do? 

We have a lot of leads come to us every day, from our website and other sources and we need you to call them and help customers find the product they need. Some will need advice, others will know exactly what they want. You will need to listen to their needs and help them choose Home Unity as their Broadband supplier. 

A little about you 

To work for Home Unity you need to ooze customer service, looking after our customers is imperative to us (as you may have guessed by now) and should be second nature to you.  Speaking to people on the phone is something you love to do, helping, giving advice and answering questions should be a pleasure.  

You will have a target to hit and we will help you learn how to achieve this without pressure sales, although you will need to be able to close sales and be comfortable doing it. Ideally you will have experience in telecoms sales although it’s not mandatory, it is advantageous. We have an amazing system which we’ve built and you will need to be able to follow scripts and instructions to use it as well, along with having good English language skills, both oral and written as you will be contacting customers on email, WhatsApp and SMS too. 

Being able to keep yourself motivated is critical, you’ll be working from home initially which can be tough so you need to be able to make sure you’re hitting your call numbers each day and filling in customer records as necessary. In time, we will have an office in Guildford so you’ll need to be able to get there once it is open. 

Sharing and learning from others will really help you build your skills and we will help you as much as we can so being open to self-improvement and helping others will help us build a great business which the telecoms industry will envy!

It’s only fair you get some time off so you will start with 30 days and it will go up by 1 day each year you stay to a maximum of 35. You can work flexi hours providing they’re signed off by your manager and you’re hitting your targets. There will be social events you can go to, we’re keen on helping charities so you can take a day off each year to do something for a charity you believe in. 

You’ll have targets to hit and you’ll be paid a bonus each month for hitting it, the OTE is £35k but it’s uncapped so if you want to exceed and get a really good income then we welcome it! 

  After probation you’ll get free fibre broadband at your home and subject to company performance an annual bonus too. 

The salary we can offer is up to £25,000 plus bonus with an OTE of £35,000. 

We’d like you to work from 9AM to 5.30PM Monday to Thursday and 9AM to 4.30PM on Fridays. You’ll need to work two Saturday mornings per month from 10AM to 1PM which the time is given back as Flexi-time in the week, so you don’t work more than 37.5 hours. 

To begin with you’ll be remote working but in future you’ll become office based in Guildford with hybrid working 2 days a week maximum available to those hitting their targets.
